Marcia Shapiro

Marcia Shapiro is an artist living in Atlanta with her husband and daughter. Her passion is painting friends and family members in partially invented settings and environments. She is inspired by how patterns and color interact and is drawn to bold, organic patterns and saturated palettes. She works in oil on found boards and surfaces or gouache on watercolor paper. Marcia has participated in a number of group exhibitions in Brooklyn, NY.
